The Celebrities' Lankiness Delusion

The Celebrities' lankiness delusion daily raises and aggravates. With a look at a Star’s décolleté, you see nothing but a carcass, which is only covered by a thin skin. The Prominents, who are browbeated by the publicity and the media and who are dictated to be beaty-ideals, at first don’t suffer rarely from stress-symptoms and then from the weight loss to be caused by such symptoms. Oftener than male stars, the so-called Society Girls are affected by these problems to have to be taken seriously.
Some Stars accept it, the other ones hide their problems. The lankiness delusion is an old ailment, which is effused in fashion and Celibrities’ world more and more.
Currently the most extreme examples of such consequences are Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton, Keira Knightley and Victoria Beckham.
It seems that Nicole Richie (20) bets her new girl-friend Lindsay Lohan hunger: both of them get thinner more and more. Their clothes hang down, their thin arms look like they could break at any moment. Nicole Richie has a height of 1,57 metres and weights just about 40 kg. But she repulsed the accusation that she would be anorexic many times.
Mischa Barton went, as many Stars did, argueing against the lankiness delusion in Hollywood. In her opinion, pictures of fatless models are responsible for the young girls who develop eating disorders. You should attach more importance to female curves. The actress said literally: “You should not try quelling
female curves. Far from it, they should be avowed. The bad look of thinness should be forbidden.”
But Mischa Barton herself becomes thinner from day to day. Only lately, the twenty-year-old has been seen together with her friend Nicole Richie, walking at the beach in California. Pictures show an actress to be just skin and bones.
And also Keira Knightley (21, “Pirates of the Caribbean”), who thousands of young girls are modelled on, bares bones in numbers. Already now you can see the cheekbones in the actress’ face. On 2nd August 2006, at the Echo-Award for the film “Pirates of the Caribbean 2”, Knightley’s golden Gucci-Robe made everybody look at bony shoulders, an unnatural prominent clavicle and pelvic bones. Trousers, which Victoria Beckham wore, too, in size Dubble-Nill already fit on Knightley by now.
Victora Beckham (31), the Ex-Spice-Girl, who according to british press reports doesnot follow a beauty-ideal but just wants to attract attention, meanwhile lost weight even more: trousers in size Dubble-Nill fit on her no longer. That is why her designers had to design the size 23 (this matches with the hip measurement of a seven-year-old boy) extra for her. Now she buys her clothes in a shop named “Gab”, one of the US-Companies for children’s clothing.
