RAMMSTEIN
RAMMSTEINRammstein is one of the most famous bands from Germany. They have sold about 10 million CD’s till today. Rammstein was based in 1994. The band consists of the guitarist Richard Kruspe, the bassist Oliver Riedel, Christoph Schneider, who is playing the drum and Till Lindemann, the singer and lyric writer. Before his career whit Rammstein, Till Lindemann plays the drums for the punk band “First Arsch”. Their first tape included the songs “Das alte Leid“, “Seemann“, “Weißes Fleisch“ and “Rammstein“. After these successful songs, the guitarist Paul Landers and Flake Lorenz come to the band. Rammstein have got lots of platinum and double-platinum plates. They also got the “Echo” for the best video. It’s neatly impossible to say, which music style Rammstein have. The songs and their styles are so different that no music expert has ever said a clear music direction. I would say a mixture of Hard Rock and Metal. The songs “Mein Teil” and “Stripped” are not allowed to send in television before 23.00! Rammstein is characterized for their breath-robbing shows. Rammstein have got a very different view on daily topics. Rammstein sing for example about force, friendships, obsession and unfortunate dear romances. Their songs are shaped of wordplays (for example “Du Hast”). When you listen to Rammstein, you can interpret into the texts nearly whatever you want. Till today Rammstein published 6 albums and 20 single. The most successful songs of Rammstein are “Herzeleid”, “Sehnsucht”, “Mutter”, “Reise, Reise” and “Rosenrot”, which are all on spot number one in the Austrian and German music charts. They have published 4 video, which had got a youth prohibition under 16 and one video under 18 years.
