Text: Marcus Testory
Solitude, I’ve feared
And adored
Welcomed as my attendant
Let myself drown
And create out of it
Your tears like blades
My heart in thousand pieces
My blood shall heal your wounds
Though I’ve feared this day
I know it was to come
Now, that I’m gone
Never too old to rebel
Never too old to desire
Never afraid of solitude
The lone wolf’s still biting
I don’t want to be a part of you
I’ve got no need
Of your entertainment
Neither is your success
Your house, your boat, your car
Your wife, lover, business
Of any interest or value to me
Is my solitude self-determined
Or simply a result
Of my mean character
Or my incompatibility
With this brave new world
